Napoleon at St. Helena SolitaireNapoleon at St. Helena Solitaire (also called Forty Thieves) is the game that was played by Napoleon on the island of St. Helena while he was imprisoned by the British. The game is played with 2 decks, and starts with 40 cards dealt into 10 equal columns of 4 cards. The player can move only the top card in each of these columns, and may use the cards to build down the columns by suit, or build up the foundation by suit. In this version the player may pass through the remainder of the two decks twice. | ||
